About the Faculty

Staff and students.

 

Science and Engineering is one of the largest faculties within Curtin with a current student population of nearly 7500 students.  Students are enrolled in more than 200 courses and study at levels ranging from bachelor to doctorate. These include major areas such as Engineering, Agriculture, Computing, Mining, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Education.

The Faculty is geographically dispersed across five campuses. These are the main campus located at Bentley, the Western Australian School of Mines located in Kalgoorlie, and the Muresk Institute, comprising campuses in Northam, Margaret River and Technology Park, Bentley.

Science and Engineering is dedicated to the enhancement of teaching and the pursuit of excellence and innovative applications of technology as a contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge, understanding and community relevance. We pride ourselves on our teaching and learning, which provides stimulating, thorough and practical programmes to produce professional, responsible and innovative graduates.
